Meet Scarlett
Dr. Scarlett Ellender is a Louisiana native who recently earned her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Collaborative Piano from Louisiana State University.
Scarlett has over five years of teaching experience working with students of all ages and levels that have performed in Baton Rouge festivals and studio recitals.
Scarlett’s teaching emphasizes goal-oriented practice strategies that foster confidence and independence, along with healthy technique and practice habits that help prevent tension and injury.
In addition to teaching, Scarlett maintains an active career as a collaborative pianist and church musician.

Scarlett tailors her lessons to support each student’s unique musical journey and personal goals. She strives to create an encouraging and approachable learning environment that supports steady growth while celebrating both small and large successes.
